How will your donations be used?

Tech Policy Press is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It is funded primarily by grants from foundations and donations from readers.

Individual donations help us achieve our mission by covering operating costs, including our core editorial and operational team, which provides editing and publishing services to an expanding network of contributors. Your donation helps support and expand our staff so that we can continue to provide editorial support to our contributors and produce accurate, timely information and analysis in this fast-moving field, cover more issues across a more expansive geography, and continue to diversify the debate over the future of technology.

• Editorial development and production. Your donations support the analysis and reporting we produce, including the work of our fellows and staff and the editorial effort we put into serving and growing the community of contributors.
• Expert reporting and analysis: Occasionally, we commission articles from writers on issues at the intersection of technology, policy, and democracy.
• Community resources: Support us in delivering information resources like transcripts, policy round-ups, and trackers.
• Digital infrastructure: Maintaining and improving our website and digital platforms is crucial to help us reach a wider audience and enhance the reader experience.
