Ioanna Noula
Ioanna Noula is a senior researcher and advisor in the areas of children’s rights, tech policy, democratic citizenship, and organizational governance. She was one of the founders of the Internet Commission, a non-profit organization that conducted the first independent trust and safety audits for online platforms, including the BBC, Sony PlayStation, Tinder, Meetic, and Twitch. In 2024, she founded the Children’s Online Redress (COR) Sandbox, the first-of-its-kind regulatory sandbox for online safety which works with youth, industry, and regulators to co-develop processes and tools that deliver redress for young people who have been harmed or treated unfairly in digital environments. Ioanna is a visiting fellow at the UCD Centre for Digital Policy and has held academic positions at UCL’s Institute of Education, the University of Leeds, and LSE's Department of Media and Communications.
